Publication Day for “The Patchwork Quilt: Piecing an Identity Together”

It’s publication day for my newest essay: The Patchwork Quilt: Piecing an Identity Together.

The Patchwork Quilt is a braided memoir essay identity, motherhood, and quilting.

During my pregnancy, I worked on a Victorian-style crazy quilt, and it came to symbolize many things for me. The Patchwork Quilt essay explores how easy it is to lose one’s sense of identity in the demands of being a new mother, and how I tried to hold on to one tiny piece of my old self.
